MIA - CONSTANCE MURRAY-MOON

 

The daughter of Pete who, despite the losses she has suffered, has a happy personality and welcomes the group when they arrive.  However, when she was bitten by her mother, her father blamed himself and so has dedicated his life to keeping her alive.  She has to have daily doses of her fathers medicine otherwise she too will succumb to the infection.  Despite this, she keeps positive, knowing that she is all her father has in the world and worries that once she dies, he'll give up.  Maybe the new people who have turned up can make everything better.

 

Constance Murray-Moon was one of 140+ who applied for the role of 12 year old Mia and her audition was so easily the best.  Despite being only 14 at the time of shooting she was able to deliver some amazing scenes and really gets the audience to care for Mia, which in turn makes them understand her fathers actions.
