CLAIRE - AMBER PRICE

 

As the only one with any medical experience, former nurse Claire is Steve's expert when it comes to going into detail on the infected.  She's happy to help, often making sly jokes about it, but like Rob, feels their time should be used more productively.  She also wonders how far Steve will go in trying document the decaying world outside, worried he may put the group in danger.  Her relationship with Nick means she's often called upon to be the voice of reason when Rob is not getting through to him.  It has also meant she has not become closer to the only other female in the group, Adele, something that may change as time goes on.  Her loyalties are often split between the group and Nick, who is clearly pulling away from the rest since the death of Chris.

 

Amber Price delivered what many thought to be one of the strongest audition videos and once chosen she quickly brought an energy and fun to the production that is always needed.  As Claire, Amber has some of the longer, more detailed monologues in the film and delivered them with a perfect natural style.  Despite having other work, like most of the cast, she was always keen to be on set and was committed to the film throughout.
