ADELE - MARIE PORTER

 

Adele is the shy quiet one, preferring to stay in the back and just go along with whatever the group decides.  Despite Claire being there, she has instead found a deep connection with Steve.  Andrew was a childhood family friend so she feels compelled to speak up when he starts following Nick around, clearly seeing the only connection she has to her life before all this is slipping away.  At least Steve is always there to offer comfort and make her feel safe.

 

Marie Porter was a last minute change to the original cast member, but quickly learnt the part and played it well.  Despite coming late into the production she quickly fitted in with the rest of the cast and crew she met and became Adele.  Having known Patrick Lynden for some time prior to this the two of them were able to develop their characters and work very well together.  Definitely also the "scream queen" of Dead End.
